The Brief
Being a start-up company the cost of the build was crucial, so in order to reduce the cost gwailo wanted to design the website themselves.
Gwailo needed a website that was easy to navigate, have the ability to accept online payments and consist of an administration area where staff where able to upload new product lines.
The Solution and Benefits
All of these factors where taken into consideration and a Pay Pal shopping cart and payment gateway was chosen. This was the most cost efficient way of building the ecommerce website but also used to reduce payment charges.
A Welford Media Content Management System was also installed allowing Gwailo staff to upload new product line including pictures, descriptions and categories. Welford Media was also able to turn a website look and feel Gwailo designed into HTML and embedded flash code, thereby insuring that their new website was exactly how they wanted.
